【Appearance traits】

White to greenish yellow needle-like or columnar crystals. Melting point 148-149°C. Soluble in methanol, ethanol, chloroform, benzene, acetic acid and 50% alcohol-water mixture. The dry crystal is stable, but its solution can be decomposed and oxidized even under shading. The solution of this product is red when it meets ferric chloride.
